Hummingbird is one of the most iconic acoustic guitars with Gibson badge. It started back in 1960 and has been in production ever since. hugely popular among professional guitarists and songwriters, as well as working musicians. 2017 model year features two new models, including the all new Standard.
Hummingbird Standard costs $3,349, which puts it in Gibson Acoustic`s middle/upper middle class. The Standard`s available in Heritage Cherry sunburst, with hand-rubbed lacquer finish, multi-ply binding and gorgeous pickguard. The body is made of mahogany (back, sides) and Sitka spruce (top) and is paired with a one-piece mahogany neck (with 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on top).
L.R. Baggs` VTC pickup system, rosewood fingerboard (w/Tusq saddle) and nickel-plated Grover tuners complete the standard hummingbird.
