Gibson J-45 Custom
Round Shoulder Acoustic-Electric Guitars by Gibson
Round Shoulder Acoustic-Electric Guitars by Gibson
J-45 has been around for more than seventy years (75, to be precise) and is one of the longest serving models in Gibson`s rich and long history. The first J-45 was introduced during the WWII and was a part of the J (short of Jumbo) series, which was supposed to overpower Martin`s cult D series.
The new J-45 Custom features all of the goods which made the J-45 as popular as it is, and adds another level of exclusivity. It costs $700 more than the J-45 Standard ($3,099) and brings rosewood back and sides instead of Standard`s mahogany.
Gold-plated Grover tuners, solid rosewood fingerboard, one-piece mahogany neck, solid Sitka spruce top, solid rosewood bridge and L.R. Bagg`s VTC electronics system are also found on this majestic J-45.
