Ibanez`s AE series is there for players who are looking for a modern, well-made, and reliable acoustic or acoustic-electric guitar. It is the flagship line of the acoustic segment. The current lineup consists of five full-sized models (all with Ibanez`s original AE bodies) and one Junior model (AE245JR).
AE245JR is a short-scale guitar (23-7/8"), based on the standard-sized AE245 model. It offers a single-cut AE body (Venetian cutaway, scalloped X bracing), 14th fret dovetail neck joint, modern styling, and surprisingly strong and potent tone. Main construction features include mahogany back & sides, ovangkol top, AE-shaped mahogany neck, and 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard (1.69" bone nut, AE inlays).
Other important features include a solid ovangkol bridge, Ibanez T-bar pickup (w/Ibanez preamp), and die-cast tuners.
