00X1AE Java Mahogany model is a 00-sized acoustic guitar with non-cutaway body. Models from this series are intended to compete in budget-friendly section of the market and, at the same time are among the most affordable Martin models ever built. This 00 comes with a fully acoustic body made of mahogany and spruce. Mahogany is laminated and used for the back and side panels. Spruce is solid and it has a double role on this model Both the sound board and bracing are made of it. Natural stratabond neck is attached to the body with a mortise & tenon joint and equipped with oval contour in the back. on top of the neck Martin installs a 20-fret fingerboard made of black richlite. Bridge is also made of black richlite.
