ooX1AE Java Mahogany is a model from Martin`s X series. The line of models dedicated to the lower portions of the market and players who can not afford a Standard or Custom series Martin. This is a non-cutaway concert shaped guitar with a body made of spruce top and mahogany back and sides, all laminated. It is available in natural gloss finish with a tear-drop shaped pickguard. the neck on this model is made of stratabond and features an oval contour with mortise and tenon joint at the 14th fret. The black richlite fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets and 1.6875" wide corian nut. Fishman Sonitone system with preamp is built onto this model. The bridge is made of black richlite. The list price for this model is set at $719.
