Martin Guitars have a very large and vast catalog with many series and models. Performing Artist is unique by it`s characteristic blend of high end features and reasonable price policy. It`s models are intended for everyone who wants a solid, reliable, high quality acoustic-electric guitar with an affordable price tag. DCPA 4 Rosewood Left Handed comes with a dreadnought cutaway model with the body made of solid Indian rosewood back and sides and a solid spruce top. The top is bound in white boltaron and adorned with a double-ring rosette. Tortoise pickguard is also featured on the top. Basically, all the features on this model are the same as on it`s right handed counterpart. Bridge is made of black richlite and it comes with a belly shape, white plastic string pins and TUSQ saddle. Electronics department is equipped with a Fishman F1 analog amplification system. This electronics setup is accompanied by a side-mounted control panel with volume and tone controls. The neck is made of select hardwood and equipped with a Performing Artist contour. Neck joint is a common features of all the models from this series, it is a mortise & tenon set joint. The fingerboard is made of black richlite and it sorts 20 frets, Style 28 corian dot inlays and 1.75" wide corian string nut. Other features include: chrome hardware, 25-2/5" scale and hybrid scalloped X bracing.
