Paevey`s Composite series of acoustic-electric guitars brings us the future of acoustic guitars today. Their revolutionary concept features no wood, as every wooden part is now made of composite materials. Also, some construction solutions, such as one piece body/neck, bring neck and tuning stability to a completely new level. GX Wide neck starts off as a regular grand concert cutaway model, but it`s body is made of composite materials. It is a one-piece body. Color option chosen for this model is very fitting, as it is carbon burst with gloss finish. There are no bindings or pickguards for this GX. the bridge is made of composite materials and it features blck plastic saddle and black string pins. In electronics department, the player has a choice between Fishman® Prefix Plus T and Fishman Aura® pickup/preamp system. The control panel in both cases is side-mounted. The neck is made of carbon fiber, as it is a part of the one-piece body/neck construction. Also, there is no heel, as it is not needed to support the neck. The fingerboard is made of polymer and features 20 medium sized frets, 1.75" wide plastic nut and dot position inlays.
