2012C Limited Edition is a nylon string version of 2012 limited models. It shares a majority of features with it`s steel-stringed sibling, including the aesthetic, wood and hardware appointments. This model is made especially for those players who want a nylon string feel with these ultra-elegant guitars. It was introduced at the NAMM 2012 Show. 2012C comes as a cutaway dreadnought model with a body made of solid rosewood back and sides and a solid spruce top. This classic limited is equipped with several layers of top binding and a stretched round sound hole with a beautiful rosette. There is no pickguard on this model. 2012C Limited Edition comes only in black gloss color. The bridge is made of rosewood and painted black for the uniformity of appearance. It is a classically shaped bridge with white saddle. Electronics feature a palathetic pickup in combination with a Cooltube preamp. This preamp is made with same dimensions as four other Takamine preamps, and is also interchangeable with them. Second special feature of this preamp is it`s low working temperature which makes heat damage to the wood history. The fingerboard is made of ebony and equipped with 20 frets and growing vine inlays.
