EG755S is an OM sized novelty for 2012, and was represented at the NAMM Show this January. This orchestra model is introduced into the G segment which continuously raises the bar in respect of quality of appointments and affordability. It features no cutaways and boasts a high quality of wood used for the body and neck. The body is made of quilted maple back and sides and solid spruce top. The top is, as well as back, bound in maple binding with abalone middle strip on the back of the guitar. Natural with glossy finish is the only color available for this model. There is no pickguard on the top, it was left out in favor of better resonance. The bridge on this model is a classic Takamine appointment, rosewood bridge with belly shape, black pins and white plastic saddle. In the electronics department situation is regulated by a piezo pickup and TP4T preamp with a compact shoulder-mounted control panel. This is one of least intrusive preamp designs, and it is gaining up on popularity, as it doesn`t affect the tone and resonance of the guitar very much. The neck is made of mahogany and meets the body at the 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and equipped with 20 frets with dot/snowflake inlays.
