When it comes to luxurious guitars cocobolo is the tone wood to choose if aiming for the tone similar to Brazilian rosewood. Strength, depth and fantastic ability to take fine finish. with Fall 2009 Limited Edition, Taylor decided to honor this tone wood with an entire series dedicated to it. GAce-LTD-C is a model from this series and it is a grand auditorium guitar with single cutaway and Taylor electronics installed within the body cavity. Natural color is finished in high gloss and complemented with gold-plated hardware and maple binding. Cocobolo is used for the back and side panels of the body, while the spruce is used for top. Mahogany neck features a dovetail joint. Ebony is used for both the standard shaped bridge and 20-fret fingerboard.
