Grand symphony is one of the medium to small sized standard body shapes and it is a very popular one at Taylor Guitars. It is considerately smaller than dreadnought and jumbo, but still bigger than parlor. Taylor Guitars have a GS series in acoustic-electric catalog, a series dedicated solely to grand symphony guitars. GS5 12e is an acoustic-electric guitar with non-cutaway body made of mahogany back and sides and spruce sound board. Bridge section is equipped with Taylor standard shaped ebony bridge. Electronics department features Expression system, the variant made for steel stringed guitars. Natural color is the only one for this model and it is finished in gloss. Neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with a standard ebony fingerboard with regular 20 frets.
