GS8 12e is a twelve stringed guitar from the GS series made by Taylor Guitars. Currently, it is the flagship of this two-guitar series and sports a series compulsory grand symphony body shape. This model is an acoustic-electric guitar with Taylor`s Expression system installed within the body cavity. Non-cutaway design is complemented with a standard 14th-fret dovetail joint construction. Natural is the only color option and it comes finished in gloss. Also, Taylor installs a set of twelve gold-plated tuners on the headstock. Body is made of rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board on top. Bridge section is equipped with a standard-shaped bridge made of ebony.Mahogany is the material of choice for this model`s neck and it is topped with a standard 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
