Discovery series is Breedlove`s most affordable one. It is focused on the beginner class of the market, though Discovery models are great backup instruments as well. Together with Solo, Pursuit, and Stage models, Discovery series models are made in China and designed and controlled in Bend, Oregon. The current lineup is divided between concert and dreadnought models. Discovery Concert CE (Mahogany) is one of the amplified concert models. It comes with a single-cut body, Fishman electronics (pickup/preamp combo), and a versatile tone. Main construction features include laminated okume back & sides, a solid sapele top, 14th fret dovetail neck joint, and stock hardware. Breedlove offers this one in Natural Gloss finish only. Other notable features include a solid okume neck, a 20-fret fingerboard made of ovangkol, ovangkol bridge, and closed-gear tuners.
