Discovery is the most affordable series in Breedlove`s catalog. Its main role is to offer inexpensive and well-made acoustic/acoustic-electric guitars to beginners and players who seek an affordable backup guitar. Together with the models of Pursuit, Solo, and Stage series, Discovery models are made in China and controlled in Bend Oregon (where Breedlove`s headquarters are located). Discovery Concert MH is one of the basic Discovery series` models; it comes with a non-cutaway body, 25-1/2" scale, and a rich tone. Main construction features include laminated okume back & sides, solid sapele top, 14th fret dovetail neck joint, and stock hardware. Breedlove makes this one in Natural Gloss finish. Other important features include a solid okume neck, 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard, ovangkol bridge, and closed-gear tuners.
