Discovery series is Breedlove`s most affordable one. It is directed towards beginners and players looking for an affordable practice/backup guitar. Together with Pursuit, Stage, Stage Exotic, and several other series, Discovery is made in China and inspected in Bend, Oregon. The current lineup consists of ten models, with Discovery Concert and Discovery Concert LH models forming the series core. Discovery Concert LH is one of the very few lefties made by Breedlove. It comes with a non-cutaway concert body, standard 25-1/2" scale, and a rich, loud tone. Main construction features include laminated okume back & sides, solid Sitka spruce, 14th fret dovetail neck joint, and stock hardware. Natural Gloss is the only available finish. Other notable features include an okume neck, 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard, fixed ovangkol bridge, and closed-gear tuners.
