CJ Mh is a mahogany-bodied variant of the CJ model. They both belong to the Collings Jumbo line of slope shoulder dreadnought models in the acoustic division of Collings catalog. This particular dread features no cutaways and it`s body is made of mahogany back and sides with sitka spruce top. The top is equipped with triple circle rosette around the sound hole, tortoise pickguard and tortoise binding. Bracing pattern applied on this model is laid out in prewar scalloped pattern. The bridge is made of ebony and it comes with ebony string pins and bone saddle. The neck is made of mahogany and it is attached to the body at the 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of ebony. It comes with 20 frets and dot position inlays. 1-11/16" bone nut, 25-1/2" scale and nickel-plated Waverly tuners complete the specs list.
