Orpheum series is a line of exclusive acoustic guitars made by Guild Guitars. It is situated within the ranks of the newly established Guild Custom Shop department. Besides this luxurious Jumbo, Guild has assigned five more models to this series, three dreads and two orchestras. Orpheum Jumbo is the only jumbo-shaped guitar in the series and it features the standard set of decorations and hardware appointments. Body is made with non-cutaway design and dovetail neck joint construction. Deep and spacious, body of this model is made of solid mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board on top. The mightiest of all Orpheum models features 24-3/4" scale and all-solid body construction. Multi-ply binding and tortoise shell pickguard decorate the top. Guild delivers this one in Natural and Sunburst color variants. Both come with gloss finish. Bridge section is equipped with a standard belly-contoured bridge made of ebony. Bone saddle is installed on it`s top. Neck is made of three pieces of wood. Two laminates of mahogany and one piece of walnut between them comprise the neck. 20-fret fingerboard is made of ebony and features 1.80" bone nut. MSRP for this model is set at $4,799.99.
