HF 15 is a model from Hofner`s HF series of classical acoustic guitars and it offers a wide range of options. Model named 15 ranks somewhere around the middle of the scale and it comes with a regular non-cutaway design. Body of this guitar is made of mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board on top. This combo is becoming quite common, though cedar still holds the top spot as the classical guitar sound board option. Also, top panel is equipped with crème binding and classical rosette. Natural color with gloss finish is the only color scheme assigned to this model. Hardware comes with chrome plating. Bridge is made of rosewood. Mahogany neck has 12th fret dovetail joint and it`s topped with a standard 19-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.

A fantastic classical guitar at a great price. It is hand made in Germany and the fit and finish are top notch. Sounds great. I use it mainly for playing Brazilian music.
