HGL 7 is a classic-acoustic guitar made by German brand Hofner. On that side of the Atlantic ocean, Hofner is one of the strongest brands and is the biggest rival for American brands in the field of acoustic guitars. HGL means Hofner Green Line and it is a small series of nylon-stringed guitars. HGL 7 is positioned above HGL 5 and it`s body is made in non-cutaway variant with dovetail neck joint construction. Maple is used for the back and sides with spruce sound board being installed on top. Top panel has several layers of binding around it and a classical rosette around the sound hole. Bridge is made of walnut and it comes in a standard contour. Mahogany-made neck is topped with a regular 19-fret fingerboard made of walnut.
