AW535 is one of many instruments introduced into the Artwood series for 2014. It comes with a non-cutaway dreadnought body, neck attached at the 14th fret and fully acoustic construction (no electronics). This one is a traditional steel-stringer with the standard 25-3/5" scale, classic construction and vintage styling. Body of the awesome AW535 is made of spruce, rosewood and flamed maple. Back panel is made of two pieces of rosewood and a strip of flamed maple in the middle. Sides are completely made of rosewood, while the top is made of solid spruce. Ibanez offers this model in Natural High Gloss color scheme with combined gloss/satin finish, chrome hardware and vintage decorations on the body and neck. On the top, the bridge is made of solid rosewood and is fit with a compensated bone saddle. Abalone rosette and black pickguard decorate the top. Neck is made of mahogany, as it is the series-wide standard. It`s attached to the body at the 14th fret and is topped with a standard 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
