Martin Guitars Standard Series is the mainstay of the catalog and is aimed at providing the high quality features to it`s instruments. The appointments common for the series include: Solid tonewoods all around, hand fitted dovetail joints and polished gloss finish. The 000-18 starts off as a non-cutaway model with solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. It is available in natural gloss with a flat top bound in black boltaron. The neck is made of hardwood and has a Martin low profile with a dovetail joint at the 14th fret. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and features 20 frets, dot inlays, 1.6875" wide bone nut and 16" radius. The bridge is also made of rosewood and has black pins. List price for 000-18 is set at $2,799.
