D-18 P Left Handed is a model made for the left-handed fans of Martin guitars, especially Martin`s dreads. This dread comes with all-solid wood construction and it`s fully acoustic. Body is made of mahogany back and sides with spruce sound board. This choice of tone woods in combination with dreadnought`s size means power and supreme tone projection. Projection is aided with Martin`s X bracing made of spruce underneath the sound board. Rosewood and hardwood split the remaining parts of this model. Hardwood gets the Artist-styled neck with satin finish and 14th fret dovetail joint, while the rosewood gets the belly-contoured bridge and 20-fret fingerboard. Scale of this dread measures full 25-1/2" and the hardware installed on the headstock is plated in chrome.
