Standard Series Acoustic Guitars by Martin
Orchestra models are the full-scale variants of the 000 body. Their counterparts with 24.9" scales are named auditorium. Orchestras are slightly smaller than the young grand auditoriums and generally considered as medium-sized folk and blues guitars. OM-21 proves this theory right with it`s non-cutaway body made of rosewood and spruce. Rosewood brings tremendous low and and abundance of warmth to the table, while the spruce adds much needed liveliness and crisp to the sound. Also, it gives colorful mid and high range. Hardwood is Martin`s standard pair for this combination of body tone woods. It is equipped with low profile contour in the back and 20-fret ebony fingerboard on top. Dot inlays, 16" radius and 1.75" bone nut complete the fingerboard. Ebony bridge with belly contour is also a standard feature for the standard series models.
