0-28 VS guitar comes from the Vintage series made by Martin. The aim of this series is to capture and revive the spirit of the prewar acoustics. 0-28 VS sports the smallest standard body contour. Body of this model is made of rosewood back and sides with spruce sound board on top. There are no electronics installed on this model, due to Martin`s aim to get as close to the original prewar tone, as possible. Top panel is decorated with ivoroid binding and multiple rosette. Hardwood neck is attached to the body with a mortise & tenon joint and it sports V contour in the back. Topped with the 20-fret ebony fingerboard, this neck gives the player a lot of grip, but at the same time it`s not bulky or hand-tiring.
