D-18GE 1934 is a faithful recreation of Martin`s dreadnought models from 1930s. It comes with solid wood construction and 1935 sunburst color scheme. The MSRP for this gorgeous dread is set at $4,499 for the natural colored variant and $4,799 for the sunburst. List of tone woods includes mahogany, spruce, hardwood and ebony. All are solid and drawn from the top-most shelf in Martin workshop. Mahogany and spruce form the body with spruce-made prewar bracing pattern inside the body. Hardwood assumes it`s usual role and is used for the V-contoured neck with dovetail joint and satin finish. Solid ebony is found on both the belly-contoured bridge and 20-fret fingerboard. Hardware on D-18GE 1934 is plated in beautiful and vintage-styled nickel.
