Michael Kelly`s acoustic lineup is currently made up of nine acoustic-electric axes, with five of them (including this one) sporting hyper-modern design and construction. Other four models sport a more traditional approach. Forte Exotic JE is a pretty unusual, as well as a technologically advanced axe, featuring an offset soundhole (on the bass side of the upper bout). The only available color option is Java Ebony (w/satin finish, black binding, black hardware). Core construction features include okume body (back, sides), Java ebony & mahogany top (black binding, irregular and offset soundhole), mahogany neck (Comfort C profile, 14th fret dovetail joint), and rosewood fingerboard (12" radius, 1-11/16" Tusq nut, 12" radius). Main hardware & electronics features include Zero Ed-Pin bridge, die-cast tuners, and Fishman Sonitone pickup/preamp system (w/volume & tone located within the soundhole).
