Cigano Guitars are dedicated to the production of the Selmer-Maccaferri-styled acoustics. Since all of the models come with almost identical price tags, only their names can be used to designate the "entry", "intermediate" and "upscale" models. Judging by the name, GJ-15 is the flagship of this brand and it costs $595. For that money, player gets a decent Selmer nylon-stringer with single cut body with fully acoustic construction. Tone woods used on this one are rosewood for the back and side panels of the body, spruce for the sound board with a D-shaped sound hole, again rosewood for the belly bridge and 24-fret fingerboard and finally, mahogany for the neck. Neck is attached to the body with a 12th fret dovetail joint. Hardware on this model is plated in gold.
