CG80 is one of four currently available Ashton classical guitars. It belongs to the extensive and versatile Acoustics section of the catalog, which includes steel-stringed acoustic guitars, bluegrass instruments (mandolins and banjos) and ukuleles. CG80 comes in in Amber color with matte finish and gold hardware. CG80 is a standard-sized classical guitar. Its body is made of agathis back and sides and a top made of undisclosed material (spruce and basswood are most likely candidates). Black binding and classical rosette are the only decorations. The neck is made of mahogany, it`s wide and thick and has a standard 19-fret rosewood fingerboard on top (NuBone string nut, flat radius, side dot markers). Other major features include a fixed rosewood bridge and a set of six classical tuning pegs.
