C40 is Yamaha`s most popular classic guitar in the beginner class. It boasts a fantastic price/quality ratio, easily outdoing virtually every other guitar in its segment. CX40II is based on the legendary C40. It features the same tonewood and hardware combination, plus a high quality electronics unit. Body of CX40II is a non-cutaway guitar with a standard classical body made of meranti and spruce. Back and sides are made of meranti, while the top is made of spruce. Standard rosewood bridge rocks the piezo pickup beneath the saddle. Pickup is combined with a passive preamp. Neck is made of nato, and features the regular classical profile in the back. On its top, Yamaha installs a 19-fret rosewood fingerboard. Set of six open-geared tuners wraps the specs list.
