Cort has an extensive line of electric bass models with as much as 7 different series. Curbow 41 is a part of the Curbow series and it is a novelty for 2012. Curbow 4 is a double cutaway model with a body made of soft maple. The top of this model is heavily contoured to give more modern and aggressive look to the instrument. Curbow 41 is available in black color with glossy finish. No pickguards and bindings are features on this model. The bridge is fixed EB10 with 4 saddles. It is, as well as the rest of the hardware, platinum plated. Pickup department is made up of a single coil Bartolini Active MK 1-4 with active MK-2 equalizer. Controls consist of master volume, master tone and a slap switch. The neck on this model is made of 3 pieces of Canadian maple with a bolt-on joint. The fingerboard on the Curbow 41 is made of rosewood and is equipped with 24 large frets, no fingerboard inlays and has a 15-3/4" radius. Other features on this model include: platinum hardware, 34" scale length and die-cast tuning machines.
