Curbow 42 belongs to the Curbow line of solid bodied electric basses in Cort catalog. The series features 24 fret instruments with double cutaway bodies made of soft maple. Curbow 42 is a new model for the upcoming 2012. This model starts off with a solid, double cutaway body made of soft maple. It has a contoured top and comes in black color with glossy finish. The bridge on this model is fixed EB10 with four saddles. The bridge is platinum plated, as well as the rest of the hardware on Curbow42. Pickup combo is made up of two active single coil Bartolini MK 1-4 pickups. They are controlled through master volume, master tone, Bartolini MK-1 EQ and an EQ mini switch. The neck on this model is made of three pieces of Canadian hard maple and it features a bolt-on joint. The fingerboard on the Curbow 42 is made of rosewood and features 24 large sized frets, no position inlays on the fingerboard, just side dot markers and 15-3/4" fingerboard radius. Other features on this model include: platinum plated hardware, 34" scale length and die-cast tuning machines.
