Thanks to the Beatles and the entire British Invasion wave of rock bands, Viola Bass is one of the most significant and most recognizable bass shapes in history of rock music. Today, with new Viola model, Epiphone celebrates and pays homage to this legendary four-stringer. Today`s Viola Bass comes with a violin-shaped body, vintage styling and 30-1/2" scale. Back, sides and the top of the body are made of laminated flamed maple. Carved top is equipped with a vintage two-piece bridge unit, consisting of a rosewood bridge and a trapezoid tailpiece. Pair of minibucker pickups in the front is equipped with a standard set of volume and tone control knobs. Set in neck is also made of maple, and it`s topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
