Vintage Sunburst
Hofner Hl series offers modernized variants of the classic Violin Bass. These come with a combination of modern tone and construction with vintage styling and design. Hl series models come with short scales (30"), chrome-plated hardware, set in neck construction and fully hollow Violin bodies. Hl BB Ignition Left Handed has a body made of maple and spruce. Maple back and sides are topped with spruce sound board with no sound holes. Hofner offers this short-scaled four-stringer in Vintage Sunburst color with gloss finish and chrome-plated hardware. Two-piece bridge section is made up of a wooden bridge and a trapezoid tailpiece and is fronted with a pair of minibucker pickups. Set in maple neck features a comfortable D contour in the back and is topped with a standard 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
