Tony Franklin is one of many artists included into Fender`s Artist series family. His signature model, the Tony Franklin Precision Bass comes in two main variants, the fretted and fretless one. This one has frets and thus is named Tony Franklin Fretted Precision Bass. It features some of the classic Precision appointments, such as the standard 34" scale, vintage tuning machines on the headstock, 20-fret fingerboard, bolted neck and big plastic pickguard. Body of this model is solid, double-cut and made of select pieces of alder. On it`s top, there`s a classic four-saddled hardtail bridge with chrome plating. Two pickups in the front are installed in the J/P pattern. Neck is made of maple, which assures durability, stability and longevity and it is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of maple, as well.
