BTB series is one of the most popular bass guitar ranges in Ibanez catalog. It is also one of the main platforms for the elite Ibanez Bass Workshop series, with the majority of Workshop models being based on it (especially the single-cut version).
BTB747 is a true monster, one of the very few commercially available basses with seven strings. It sports a 35" scale, neck-through-body construction, Bartolini electronics, and Ibanez hardware. Natural Low Gloss is the only available color option. Core construction features include a maple/rosewood/walnut neck (9-piece construction, BTB7 profile), mahogany/ash wings (contoured back), walnut top, and rosewood fingerboard (2.48" nut, medium frets, 37.40" radius, abalone inlays, zero fret).
Other notable features include a seven-saddled Monorail bridge, die-cast tuners, and Bartolini`s BH2 passive pickups.
