BTB basses have a rich history and are among the finest bass series ever made in Ibanez`s facilities. BTB concept was imagined as obtainable boutique bass guitar, made to satisfy even the most versatile players out there. BTB846SC belongs to the single-cut side of the BTB family and it was introduced at 2017 NAMM (as part of Ibanez Bass Workshop lineup). This elegant six-stringer starts off with a five-piece maple/rosewood neck (with BTB profile and through-body construction) and sandwiched (mahogany back, ash middle and poplar burl top) wing body. 24-fret fingerboard (with medium frets, abalone inlays, 37.40" radius, 2.16" nut) tops the neck. Pair of Bartolini`s BH2 soapbar pickups, six-saddled Monorail V bridge and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
