Korn is one of the pioneering NU metal bands and one of the most popular metal bands in the world. For twenty years, Korn`s music has enriched the metal scene and they`re going strong as ever. Fieldy`s bass work has contributed a lot of heaviness to the authentic Korn sound and has become one of key ingredients. For the NAMM 2014, Ibanez and Fieldy introduce the brand new K5WHLTD, a limited edition five-stringer, available only in awesome white color scheme. Body of this beastly five-stringer is solid, double-cut and made of mahogany in it`s entirety. It features rounded edges, similar to the iconic SR series models. On the top, there is the classic hardtail bridge with five saddles and black plating. In it`s front, Ibanez installs a pair of their own active humbucking pickups, namely ADX5B (B) in the bridge and ADX5B (N) in the neck position. Master volume, balance knob, bass/treble boost/cut and mid boost/cut knobs are featured in the controls unit. Maple/bubinga neck is made of five pieces of wood and features the white-clad fingerboard on it`s top. 24 medium frets, 1.77" string nut and custom K5 inlay at the 12th fret complete the fingerboard.
