D-1 is currently the only model in the Disciple series made by Kramer Guitars. Design-wise, this model leans on the rich Kramer legacy. Precisely talking, Disciple is based on the popular 1980s basses made by Kramer. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany. It`s flat on top and it features the bolt-on neck joint with a contoured heel. Black/Red and Pearl White color options are available for this model and they`re both finished in gloss. Also, both of them have black hardware. On the top, D-1 features a standard four-saddled bridge and a middle-positioned humbucker. Maple neck is equipped with a modern asymmetrical contour in the back and a standard 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
