Tobias basses are once again made part of the Epiphone catalog. They are designed by Michael Tobias and aim at production of ergonomic, modern and comfortable instruments with solid sound. Toby deluxe IV is a four stringed flagship of the Epiphone`s Tobias series and features a modern, flat top, double cutaway body made of basswood. It is available in trans amber, trans black, trans red and walnut with polyurethane gloss finish. hard maple neck has an asymmetrical contour, 34" scale and bolt-on joint. Rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 24 medium jumbo frets, 1.68 wide PVC nut and 12: radius. Bridge is black nickel plated flush mount and pickups are Tobias single coils in the bridge and neck. Neck volume, master EQ, pickup blend and active Toneexpressor™ bass enhancement knob make up controls. MSRP is set at $382.
