FBJ5 is a part of the three-piece series of the Funk Unlimited series and is it`s only five-stringer. It is accompanied by two more four-string models. This awesome FBJ features the classic styling similar to the 1960s Fender Jazz Bass, but in an original Modulus interpretation. Solid and double-cut alder body is flat on the top and carved in the back for improved comfort. Don`t let the vintage styling fool you, for this one is a part of the Modulus catalog, one of the most technologically advanced on the market. Hardtail bridge and two single-coil pickups are installed on the top. carbon fiber neck replaces the classic wooden variant on this, as on every other Modulus bass. On it`s top, there is a 22-fret carbon glass epoxy fingerboard.
