KZ models belong to the Z line of solid-bodied electric basses made by the Kingston section of the prestigious Michael Tobias Design. Z series represents the middle ground between the Kingston and American tiers, though still, technically, belonging to the Kingston range. Despite being made in China with the rest of the Kingston series, Z line features a majority of the exclusive features found on the exclusive models made personally by Michael Tobias in his US workshop. KZ 4 Fretless is the one of three fretless models available in the Z series. It is a solid, double-cut model with mahogany back and maple burl top. Hardtail bridge and two Bartolini soapbar pickups are featured on the top. Fast and slim neck is topped with a fretless rosewood fingerboard.
