Michael Tobias Design is a world-renowned brand of electric bass guitars. It`s catalog is divided into two segments, or tiers. The top segment models are made in the United States by Michael Tobias, himself, while the more affordable Kingston series and models are made in China. Some of the Kingston series, including the Z, are closer to the US-made MTDs, than their siblings made in China. KZ 6 Fretless is one of two six-stringed Z basses. Solid and double-cut mahogany body is topped with a maple burl cap, which features a six-saddled hardtail bridge and a pair of Bartolini pickups with a standard controls unit. Fast and comfortable neck on this model is topped with a standard rosewood fingerboard with fret lining and side dot inlays.
