Schecter`s Ultra series of electric basses is based on the Ultra line of the six-stringed electric guitars. Both of these series are inspired by Gibson`s Firebird/Thunderbird classics and feature a similar style of construction. Ultra Bass is a solid and single-cut four-stringer with a body made of mahogany wings and maple/walnut neck. Neck-through-body is the most solid and most reliable neck joint type in commercial production. 2-Tone Sunburst, Gloss Black and See Thru Cherry are available color options for this model and they`re all fit with chrome-plated hardware. Two-piece hardtail bridge is fronted with a pair of passive EMG soapbar pickups. Maple and walnut neck has a fast and sleek contour in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
