Limited Editions is the perfect place for Warwick`s designers and builders to show their best. There are no set rules on tonewoods and hardware. Also, custom paint jobs and decorations are available. For 2014, Warwick introduces a pair of Limited Edition Fortress models, one four-stringer and one five-stringer. Fortress LTD 5 2014 is the five string variant. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of swamp ash and birdseye poplar. Swamp ash is, of course, used for the back and poplar for the top. Nirvana Black OFC with satin finish and satin chrome hardware is the only color option available for this model. On the top, Fortress LTD 5 2014 is fit with the standard two-piece "Warwick" bridge and passive Nordstrand single coils with active MEC electronics. Neck is made of wenge, which is Warwick`s top choice for necks, and fit with a 24-fret maple fingerboard on the top.
