Warwick catalog is divided into three major parts: Instruments made in Germany, Korea and China. For 2012 Rockbass models made in china are getting numerous updates. One of those is the addition of NT line of Streamers to already existing LX line. This new series contains four and five-string basses in both right and left handed versions. Streamer NT 5 is a solid bodied, double cutaway bass made of alder body and maple neck, one of the best combos for rock guitars and basses. The body has a flat top with no binding, pickguards or top woods. This Streamer, as all other models from this series, comes in black, natural gloss and Honey violin stain high polish. The bridge is a Warwick two-piece bridge with four saddles and chrome plating. In the pickups area there is, unlike the four-string J/P, a J/J combo of active MEC pickups. They are controlled through active MEC electronics. The neck is made of maple with ekanga veneers and through-body joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood, as is the standard for Rockbass made in China models. 24 frets and Just A Nut III string nut complete the fingerboard specs on this 34" scaled Streamer.
