Rockbass models which are made in China comprise, along with models made in Korea, Warwick`s budget friendly section of catalog, while the German-made models enjoy the status of the to shelf models. For 2012 Rockbass lines are being expanded with new models, series, color options. In the Streamer section, next to the LX series, there is, as of 2012, NT series of basses with neck-through construction. Streamer NT 5Left Handed comes with a solid, double cutaway body made of alder. It`s top is flat and features no pickguards, bindings or top wood covers. As all Rockbass models, this Streamer features only bare necessities of rock `n` roll. It comes in black gloss, natural gloss and honey violin stain high polish. The bridge is a Warwick two-piece bridge with four saddles and chrome plating. In the pickups department, there are two single coil active pickups provided by MEC. Also, the active electronics, through which these pickups are manipulated, come from MEC. The neck is made of maple with ekanga veneer and through-body joint. The fingerboard installed on top of this neck is made of rosewood and it comes with 24 frets, Just A Nut III string nut and no inlays.
