TRBX series in Yamaha catalog is in charge of high quality, yet affordable electric bass guitars. These basses are available in four and five-string variants with solid, double-cut bodies and bolted necks. There are two levels, the 300 and 500. Both of them have one four and one five string instrument to offer. The major difference between 300 and 500 is in the electronics department. 500 series players can choose between the passive and active circuitry with a two-position mini switch, while the 300 series players get only the passive variant. TRBX 505 is a solid, double-cut guitar with body made of mahogany. It is carved on top and is equipped with only the necessary appointments. Bridge section on this model is equipped with a high mass bridge with top load construction. It is plated in black nickel and fronted by a pair of HHB5 humbuckers. Master volume, bass, treble and pickup balancer knobs are accompanied by active-passive switch. Bolt-on nekc is made of five laminates of maple and mahogany. Back contour is slim and narrow and on top, there`s a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
