TRBX series of basses offers modern design, modern tone and exceptional build quality. Compared to the rival models from the price class these basses compete in, they easily overrun them all. TRBX series is focused on delivering the ultimate bass tone, while still maintaining cool looks. For 2013, the entire series is being overhauled with four new models appearing in the lineup. 304, 305, 504 and 505 are the names of the models introduced for 2013. TRBX 305 is one of them. This outstanding five-stringer comes with a standard TRBX series body with double cutaway and bolt-on neck joint construction. Body is made of mahogany and features carved top. There are no fancy decorations on the body and neck. Nor the headstock features them, for that matter. Bridge section is equipped with a standard high mass bridge with top-load construction. Five saddles featured on it are fully adjustable. In the front, Yamaha installs a pair of humbuckers with oversized pole pieces. Series standard controls unit is featured on this model. Neck is made of five pieces of maple and mahogany and it features the slim & fast contour in the back. 24-fret rosewood fingerboard is installed on the top. It has 23-5/8" radius and dot inlays. Tuners on the headstock are die-cast and feature black nickel plating.
