No catalog of metal-oriented guitars is ever complete without a soloist-shaped option. This rose is given to the Halcyon line of models in the Darkside section of the DBZ catalog. Halcyon, the basic model comes with alder-made body which is matched with set maple neck. This is one of the most popular tone wood combos in the industry and it accounts for a vast number of soloist guitars. Body sports a carved top and is available in Matte Black and Ferrari Red. Pickups selected for Halcyon are active EMGs. The combo includes 81 in the bridge and 85 in the neck position. Controls unit is simple and contains master volume, master tone and three-way toggle pickup switch. Fingerboard is made of ebonized rosewood and it has 24 frets.
