Lapsteel Guitars Electric Guitars by Epiphone
Lapsteel guitars, while not very popular among rock musicians, are a huge thing in country and blues circuits. Not many major manufacturers offer laspteels as part of their main catalogs, but Epiphone is an exception. The affordable Electar Inspired by 1939 Laspteel is one of the best budget-friendly options for a working musician. It was made as a tribute to the original 1939 Herb Sunshine lapsteel guitar. Main features include a solid, one-piece body/neck made of mahogany, square-shaped neck profile, and Epiphone electronics (500B "Blade" humbucker w/Circus Tent control knobs). There`s only one color option - Ebony. Other notable features include a 28-fret plexiglass fingerboard w/1939 Art Deco inlays, a hardtail bridge w/nickel-plated steel cover, and "Deluxe" tuners w/ivory-colored buttons.
